Air Transfer, Arranged by Us
Straight to Canouan
The Way in
The way in is by air transfer. Guests fly into St Lucia, St Vincent, Barbados or Grenada, and from there we arrange the air transfer, by charter with the companies we work with, including our own jet, or on the shared air transfers, straight to Canouan Airport (CIW), about ten minutes from the Estate. We arrange it when you book your villa, so please ask us before you finalise your international flights. Flying from further afield? We can arrange to collect you from anywhere.

Times are approximate and depend on the aircraft. Shared air transfers run most days; our travel services team confirms times when booking.
Through Barbados
SVG Air passengers arriving in Barbados from international flights are escorted from international arrivals to the domestic lounge, without clearing immigration or customs.
On Grenadine Alliance and SVG Air: one checked bag up to 20 kg (44 lb) included, and one hand bag up to 6 kg (13 lb) that fits under the seat. Extra bags are charged and may follow on a later connection; golf bags, kite and surf boards are charged. Tickets for 10 December to 15 January, and for Easter week, cannot be changed or refunded.
Private Aircraft
- Canouan Airport IATA CIW, ICAO TVSC.
- Runway 13/31 1,791 m (5,876 ft), asphalt, 30 m wide.
- The runway is lit for night use and takes aircraft up to a Boeing 737.
- Hours, local time (UTC-4) the airport operates from 8 am to 8 pm. As the runway is lit, later arrivals or departures can be arranged; ask our travel services team.
- Handling FBOs at the airport include Canouan Aviation Services and SVG Air Private Aircraft Services. Your handler arranges customs and immigration on arrival.
- Pilots take runway distances and procedures from the current Eastern Caribbean AIP.
- Our own jet, and the charter companies we work with, fly you in from St Lucia, St Vincent, Barbados or Grenada; our travel services team arranges it.
By Sea
- The marina on the north-west coast lists 120 berths for yachts up to 100 m and is a port of entry for St Vincent and the Grenadines.
On Arrival
We meet you at Canouan Airport and drive you to your villa, about ten minutes away. Your villa host welcomes you there with a cocktail and canapés, completes the registration card in the villa and shows you round. Your golf cart is waiting. On the day you leave, your villa host or the reservations desk settles the bill, and we drive you back to the airport.
Passports, visas and any health rules for St Vincent and the Grenadines are set by the government and can change. Check them with your airline or our travel services team before you travel.
Before You Travel
- Ask us to arrange your air transfer to Canouan first, then book your international flight to St Lucia, St Vincent, Barbados or Grenada.
- The airport operates from 8 am to 8 pm. As the runway is lit, later arrivals or departures can be arranged.
- Small aircraft can be held by weather; leave time between your international flight and the air transfer.
- Christmas and Easter tickets on the shared air transfers cannot be changed or refunded.
- Canouan keeps Atlantic Standard Time (UTC-4) all year.
