Suite and Villa rates 2012

All nightly rates exclude Government Tax and Service Charge.

Conditions:

All rates are quoted in US dollars. Net rates listed are inclusive of taxes: 10% government accommodation tax (applicable to room charge only, a 15% tax rate applies for non-room charges) and 10% service charge (applicable to all services). Gratuities are at the guest’s discretion. Net rates are non-commissionable. Rates and promotions are subject to change without notice. Blackout dates may apply.

Inclusions:

Return private airport transfers, maid service daily and turn-down service, A la Carte Breakfast*, tropical fruit basket upon arrival, non-alcoholic beverages in mini bar, personal golf cart per bedroom, suites come with Lavazza Espresso coffee machine with daily complimentary replenishment, access to the fitness center, non-motorized water sports, use of tennis facilities, use of library (DVD, literature), selection of one daily newspaper; complimentary wireless internet access and use of internet room, complimentary access to Sugar Palm Kids Club for children between the ages of 4 to 14 including all activities, afternoon kids snacks and soft drinks, Beach bags for children of 4 and up with toy selection.
* Breakfast must be consumed at our restaurant and no credits will be given if breakfast is ordered through room service.

Annual Closure: note the resort will close from August 29 – October 10, 2011 and August 27 –
October 10, 2012.

Additional person charges

Rates are based on single or double occupancy per bedroom. Additional person charge inclusive of A la Carte Breakfast is US$ 99.00 rack (US$ 95.00 net including tax and service charge) per person per night. Additional person charges apply when occupancy of the accommodation exceeds what the existing bedding allows (2 per king bed, 1 per double or twin bed).

Additional charges

Mini bar food items, alcoholic beverages, golf green fees, golf lessons, spa treatments, boat charter, and day trips to neighboring islands, tennis lessons, laundry/valet service, telephone calls, and private child care services are not included and must be purchased separately.

Meal Plans

Three courses each meal from the a la carte menu.
Meal plans are priced per person, are non-commissionable and subject to 15% taxes and 10% service charge.

Beverages are not included in any of the meal plans. Children under six years old are complimentary. Parents and children must be on the same meal plan. Unused meals cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or credit. Supplemental charges may apply for the degustation menus or special dishes of the specialty restaurants for guests on the Full Board Plan (Lunch and Dinner plan). Meal plans must be applied on entire stay.

Children's Policy

We welcome families year-round. All children of 17 years old or younger can stay free in parent’s room up to the permissible maximum occupancy per accommodation. Additional person charge will apply to adults of 18 years old and older. Cribs are available on request. The Sugar Palm Kids club is available and is complimentary for children ages 4 to 14. It opens from 9 am to 5 pm daily and closes for lunch from 12 pm to 1pm. Baby sitting services are available upon request and a charge of US$ 15 per hour applies.

Cancellation & deposit policy

• May 1 - Dec 17, 2011 + Apr 11 - Dec 16, 2012 except during annual closure: 14 days prior to arrival – 3 night deposit requirement. If cancellations are sent less than 14 days prior to arrival date, the 3 nights deposit will be charged or not be refunded.
• Dec 18, 2011 – Jan 11, 2012 (Festive Season period) 50% deposit is required for Festive Season bookings at time of booking of which 50% is non-refundable. The remaining 50% is due by September 1, 2011. The entire stay will be charged for any cancellations after September 1, 2011.
• Jan 12 – Apr 10, 2012: 30 days prior to arrival – 3 night deposit requirement. If cancellations are sent less than 30 days prior to arrival date, the 3 nights deposit will be charged or not be refunded.

Cancellation notices must be sent in writing directly to Canouan Resort reservations department and acknowledged in writing by the reservations department.

Minimum night stay requirements

For stays between December 17, 2011 and January 12, 2012 : Arrivals before December 23rd require a minimum of 7 nights. Arrivals on or after December 23rd require a minimum of 9 nights. Arrivals after the December 28th require a minimum of 7 nights.

Allotment and cut off dates

Prior allotment agreement will be terminated. We may offer an allotment agreement strictly based on our discretion. No allotment will be extended during Festive Season.

Prepayment basis

Unless Direct Billing has been established, the room and tax of the entire stay has to be prepaid 30 days prior to arrival. In case the pre-payment is not received as stipulated above, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking. To apply for direct billing please email reservations@canouan.com; in case of a direct billing agreement the payment of the invoice needs to be settled within 30 days from receiving the invoice from the resort; after 30 days penalty charges may apply.
